About
Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts (23 February to 17 March) is back with a world-class selection of events.
The 2024 programme will reconnect audiences kanohi ki te kanohi (in person) with live international performances, elevate our own stories to new heights and bring us face-to-face with artists and writers from around the globe.
Running every two years since 1986, Aotearoa New Zealand Festival of the Arts is the nation’s largest celebration of contemporary arts experiences based in the Wellington region. Our 24 day programme features ticketed, free and family events including music, theatre, dance, visual arts, literature and more.
