Supergroove announce The Phenomenon Tour featuring original ‘95 lineup. + Special guests Troy Kingi, Rubi Du & DJ King Kapisi.
Legendary New Zealand band Supergroove is back and ready to light up stages across the country for their highly anticipated reunion tour, The Phenomenon Tour, coming April 2025! Featuring the original ‘95 lineup of the iconic group, the band will come together for a rare series of shows, marking one of the few times they’ve played together in recent years. Known for their high-octane live performances, this is a special opportunity for fans to experience Supergroove on stage all night delivering their timeless hits.
The tour, featuring special guests Troy Kingi, Rubi Du, and DJ King Kapisi, kicks off in Rotorua on April 8 and winds its way through cities and regions across New Zealand, with stops in Whanganui, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Havelock North and Auckland. This tour is a throwback to
Supergroove’s early days in the ‘90s, when they took their unique blend of funk, rock, and hip hop on the road, building a devoted fanbase with their energetic regional tours.

I have been fortunate enough to see Supergroove a few times in my lifetime and each time has been totally memorable and they kick-a$$. I hope I get to see them again.....

It was great to hear all the great hits again and see such a brilliant recovery from a minor technical difficulty mid song. Only criticism I have is the seats are not designed for the really big people, in the up stairs section.

I saw them again 2 yrs ago & they were my main reason for purchasing tkts to Electric Ave. They had so much energy & were hands down the best band there! Loved it! I was so excited for Supergroove at the Chc Town Hall and boy did they bring the energy and the fun, as I so knew they would! Special guests Troy Kingi, King Kapisi, Rubi Du & even a couple of breakdancers went on stage throughout the gig & not just as support acts beforehand - a great way of doing it. You could see how much fun they were all having, as was everyone else in the crowd. Smiles all round. It’s safe to say my live music cup is full 🎶🥁 Please tour again next year Supergroove!

Was indeed a phenomenon to experience, loved King Kapisi's energy and crowd interaction followed by the talented Troy Kingi then the dynamic Supergoove. Rubi Du was fabulous, we loved the interaction of such unique talented artists. Such an epic concert.💓 Thankyou for coming to Dunedin 😁

How awesome to hear all the OG hits including Sitting inside my head, You freak me, Can’t get enough, and Scorpio girls in full blast live sound! Was a bonus to hear the singles Chains & Fade Away from Che Fu, and King Kapisi with the classic Screams from the old plantation. Took me back to the 90’s! Troy Kingi was awesome too. The crowd were just buzzing as this legendary group of NZ Music legends showed their skill and versatility as the music surged from hip hop to funk to soul and screaming heavy metal. So much fun - what a show!
