We have created an engaging and entertaining show with the whole family in mind. We encourage the whole family to enjoy the show together.
Bluey’s Big Play will run for approximately 50 minutes; there will be no interval in the show.
No, there is no price difference between adult and children tickets.
Bluey’s Big Play is friendly for all ages so the whole family can enjoy! Please note that, after the performance, some audience members will be invited to participate in games of “Keepy Uppy” – one where several air filled balls (made of materials which do not include BPA, Latex or PVC) are released into the audience, and another with bubbles (made of non-stain solution).
As with many children’s games, playing “Keepy Uppy” may at times become boisterous and unpredictable. Our top priority is to keep audience members safe which is why some sections of the venue will not be able to play “Keepy Uppy”. If you do not wish to participate in these games, we recommend you leave the theatre after curtain call.

This was so creative and beautifully done. Such a wonderful experience for my children and for my partner and I ☺️
Kids liked it they where a little disappointed with how short it was age 5 and 7
This way exceeded my expectations, wasn't sure what to expect with puppet show, but it was fabulous. I was close to the stage, which may have helped.
The show wasn’t what we expected but we had such a great time. My kids absolutely loved it. The puppeteers were so talented. Thank you for bring such a fun event to Christchurch.
Absolutely perfect! 'Bluey’s Big Play' brought everything together beautifully with a thoughtful, well-crafted storyline. The interactive elements were a standout—so engaging and fun! The kids were completely captivated and had an amazing time. A wonderful experience all around!
Really enjoyed the show - perfect length for my 3yr old neice, and very interactive, I enjoyed it and had a few giggles!
Extremely disappointed as we purchased the most expensive tickets and the way the seating was set out our children could not see
We were ushered into the show, and we received an upgrade on our seats. That was great as we had a good view. We had a good half hour to wait, but the time went fast. We played eye spy and Patter cake. Then with an introduction the show began. The music was very loud, but I think that was all part of the atmosphere. Not knowing what to expect, The Life size puppet characters were awe some. It would have taken some skill from the puppeteers to move them. We loved the set changes; the characters kept you guessing. It moved well and I loved the audience interaction; The very last ten minutes was like a big party. My girls loved it.
A show for the whole family, this was my 2 year old son first stage show and he loved it. Make sure you stay after the curtain call as they throw giant balloons into the crowd to play Keepy Uppy.
My children loved it! I sent them with another adult and they were so into it. Thank you so much it’s one of the best children’s shows my children have been too.
We indulged in ATC's production of Peter Pan last week and loved it - quite apart from knowing it's essentially a kids' show. It was, as usual with ATC plays, delightfully presented, well acted, with a great sestaging and costumes.
