SIX60 ANNOUNCE GRASSROOTS TOUR CITY EDITION

After their Grassroots T our earlier this year became the fastest sell-out tour in SIX60’s history, New Zealand’s biggest band is back, answering the call from fans who missed out. The SIX60 Grassroots City Edition Tour presented by Eccles Entertainment and The Morningshift gives fans another chance to experience the band up close in a raw, intimate setting – this time outside at picturesque city venues that elevate the experience to a whole new level and allow a celebration of summer in Australasia.

SIX60’s Grassroots Tour left an indelible mark, selling out across the country in record time. “We were just really excited about hitting the small towns, we definitely didn’t expect it to sell out in New Zealand in a minute. It felt like we spent 2 months with our inboxes flooded with people looking for tickets. In Australia we had several venues that did the same and told us it was the fastest sell out of the venue ever, it was special. We knew we had to bring it back, but we wanted to bring it outdoors and still have a level of exclusivity, we spent a good amount of time picking the perfect venues.”

- SIX60

This SIX60 Grassroots City Edition T our is a natural extension of that experience, allowing fans to see the band up close and personal while capturing the feeling of SIX60’s early outdoor tours. Venues like Brewtown in Upper Hutt, Shed 530 in Hastings, and Base Spaces at The Viaduct Harbour in Auckland combine urban vibrancy with natural beauty, evoking the nostalgia of those legendary vineyard shows at Villa Maria and other scenic spots. Union Lawn in Dunedin, nestled within the heart of Otago’s campus, will host an inclusive show open to students and the public alike.

  • Good band, so much smoking

by JM on 09/03/2025Base Spaces - Moana Auckland FestivalRating: 3 out of 5

Great band and gig as always. Good to try a new venue but not impressive that there were so, so many people smoking and vaping for the full time. Not pleasant.

Thee best concert setup that I’ve been to in a long while. Kai carts eating area, accessible merchandise tents, free water stalls in place all around arena, sunshades and minimal seating areas, family friendly, all ages worked even with alcohol served to 18+ wrist band system worked well. Night market was outside pre-concert. Six60 were brilliant live! Guest performances were a bonus & i would encourage everyone to go see them live if haven’t already. Would go see them again. More concerts at Sylo Park Please!!

  • Six60 Auckland

by Kay on 02/03/2025Rating: 1 out of 5

Concert was at Base spaces in Auckland city . Was not impressed. The venue was rubbish tbh. There was no lead up to it all . People openly smoking in front of security. We left early & Had more fun at the bar down the road 🙄. Absolute rubbish. Six60 are still awesome, but atmosphere wasn’t great

  • Average not as good as before

by Lee m on 02/03/2025Base Spaces - Moana Auckland FestivalRating: 3 out of 5

Too many kids around. Need to seperate the familys from the party people. Hard to have fun with heaps of kids around. Should be a special area for the kids. Alcohol was a dumb selection and expensive. If we have to pay that much it could be something nice and worth our money. Music was good like always.

we as a family loved the experience of the six 60 concert at brewtown, surrounded by others with kids it was a great night, enough room to dance the night away under a moody sky that held the rain off.
