  • Not just for the kids

by For the big kids to on 20/08/2025Wolfbrook Arena - ChristchurchRating: 5 out of 5

Had an amazing time, this is a show for all ages with or without kids. I did take mine but after seeing it as someone who loves Disney I would still have gone without the children. I highly recommend Disney on Ice to anyone.

  • Excellent birthday gift

My 2 year old daughter had so much fun seeing her favourite characters, even more so with the daddy. Most of the kids were wearing their favourite costumes , and it would have been the best if the characters came out to have photos with ( at least for those who paid with VIP tickets) or at least there could have been a nice Disney backdrop for photo ops.

  • The show was great and our grandchildren enjoyed it.

The food selection was poor and the drinks choice was all fizzy drinks. Neither the food or drinks available was healthy.

  • Disney on ice 2025

by Swaròvski on 12/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 4 out of 5

The show was awesome overall. I personally enjoyed last year's show alot more*2024) as it had more fun & entertaining characters involved. The motto of "find your hero"felt like it fit more to last years show as they had actual heros such as woody and buzz lightyear from toy story, the incredibles, the lion king and Aladdin. This year's show felt more like a princess dream theme because most of the it was just princesses ? Rapunzel, Cinderella, Ariel, Elsa Moana etc.. definitely the performance & performers were amazing with putting such a talented show together don't get me wrong some of those tricks look impossible from the audience view, its just WOW ! HOW COOL ! I would highly recommend mixing up the show with a equal content for boys & girls to both enjoy. Toy story was one of me & my families fave especially the 2 big teddys big rabbit and little ducky ! We hope to see more fun filled and exciting shows from Disney in future :)

  • Wasn’t up to the usual standards

by Nat on 11/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 3 out of 5

This years show just didn’t cut it. After two years of storylines, great vibes, flips and tricks as well as awesome sets, this year felt like a budget cut gone bad. Where was the wow? The children still enjoyed themselves, although their enjoyment was mostly expressed through reflections on the last year and what was missing this year. I think I would rather have no Disney on Ice at all than what we got. It’s such a shame because we love Encanto and they shouldn’t have had their first outing when they couldn’t be given the celebration they should. The venue also needs a good sort out. So many people arrived late, blocking the view of others and generally getting in the way.

  • A Pretty Show, But Missing the Magic

by Annejo on 11/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 3 out of 5

This year’s show was… okay. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite match the magic and excitement of last yearss production. The show felt like it never really reached a climax, just as it seemed to be building up, it ended. The pacing and energy were a bit bland. All six segments were princess themed, which was lovely for princess fans, but it felt repetitive and left nothing for the boys (or for those who enjoyed variety), unlike previous years that included The Incredibles, Toy Story, and other non-princess favourites. Overall, it was still a pleasant outing, but it lacked the wow factor, balance, and audience connection that have made previous productions so memorable.

  • Amazing, Magical, core memory

by Disney on 11/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 5 out of 5

It’s my daughter 3rd birthday so this came in at a perfect time. It was a magical moment for her that she’ll remember forever. She loved every moment of the show and was so stunned she didn’t even care to look at any of the merch!

  • Disney on Ice never disappoints, fun for the whole family.

    by Sophia G. on 11/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 5 out of 5

We go every year and love every minute of the show. However, Merch stales and Food lines always seem under staffed. Toilet lines are also insane, especially with children.

  • Amazing show! Worth the money

by Apol on 10/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 5 out of 5

My son who is just 2 years old was really happy watching the show. It was fun and entertaining. I hope they can bring out more disney characters like Cars or toys story.

  • Taking a three year old to a show

by Spook on 10/08/2025Spark Arena - AucklandRating: 5 out of 5

Fabulous show - watching my three year old granddaughter having the time of her life was such a joy. I travelled to Auckland from the Bay of Plenty and it was worth every minute Amazing artists Never seen so many excited kids - not to mention their outfits.
