About
The World Choir Games, the biggest choral competition and festival on the globe, is renowned for bringing people of all nations and cultures together in a joyful celebration of creativity, friendship and song. The Games will take place in Aotearoa New Zealand for the first time in July 2024 and will be by far the largest choral event ever held in this country.
More than 11,000 participants from over 30 countries will arrive in Auckland to take part in 28 competitive categories and a wide range of workshops, ceremonies and evening concerts in the central city, as well as free-to-attend daytime concerts right across Tāmaki Makaurau.
The participating choirs will bring with them a huge variety of musical and performance styles from every region of the world, providing audiences with a feast for both the eyes and the ears. For nearly two weeks, Auckland will be alive with song!
