Forsyth Barr Stadium is located on 130 Anzac Avenue, Dunedin, an easy 20 minute walk from the Octagon and Dunedin's CBD. For many, the walk from the Octagon to the Stadium with stops at various points of interest will enhance the match day experience.

Parking

On-street car parking is available in the immediate area surrounding the Stadium and in the harbour area, which is linked by a walkway from Wickliffe Street near the corner of Fryatt Street to Forsyth Barr Stadium. Parking in this harbour area is free. Car parks at the East End Stadium carpark are available to Forsyth Barr Stadium members with valid parking permits only.

Public Transportation

Time tabled bus services are available to the Albany/Forth Street Area and the University precinct, just a short walk from the Stadium. Visit https://www.orc.govt.nz/public-transport/dunedin-buses or call 03 474 0287 to check up-to-date time tables. The Stadium taxi rank is located outside Gate F on the East End car park.

Box Office Hours

On event day, the box office(s) at Forsyth Barr Stadium open at least 30 minutes before gates open, but times vary for each event. For exact times please refer to box office opening hours under the event details.

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair spaces are available in the Speight's and the North stands - each with an allocated companion seat - and must be booked through the venue. To purchase wheelchair spaces please contact Dunedin Venues Management on (03) 479 2823 or tickets@dunedinvenues.co.nz. Please mention at the time of booking if you require a wheelchair space. Disability access points to the Stadium are: - Speight's Stand (South) via Gate J (lift access available to all levels) - North Stand via Gates C and E (accessible ramp) - Mitre 10 Mega Stand (West) via Gate B - Otago Daily Times Stand (East) via Gate E There are seven marked mobility car parks in the East end car park between gates E & F, which are available on a first in, first served basis. For some events, more mobility parks may be made available. A mobility pass must be visible within the vehicle and all car park regulations must be adhered to.

General Rules

Lost property: If you lose a personal belonging at an event, please contact Dunedin Venues on 03 479 2823 or 0800 24 64 64. The venue management office is open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8.30-5.00pm. Food and beverages: Throughout the Stadium, there are 12 food and beverage outlets offering a wide variety of snacks, meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Full EFTPOS facilities are available. Smoking: Forsyth Barr Stadium is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is only allowed in the dedicated outdoor smoking areas. Entry conditions: - Bag searches may be conducted at the Gates at any time. For a list of prohibited items, please see https://forsythbarrstadium.co.nz/terms-of-entry - All patrons entering the stadium must be appropriately dressed. Clothing or signs with offensive messages may not be displayed and shoes must be worn at all times. - Patrons may be refused entry to the stadium if they: - Appear intoxicated/under the influence of drugs or exhibit disorderly behaviour. - Fail to comply security or gate staff requests, including observing any queues. - Attempt to bring in prohibited items. - Have been previously issued with a trespass notice that still applies. - Are not authorised to be on the stadium, for example have no valid entry tickets or accreditation passes. Entry and right to remain within the stadium is at the absolute discretion of Stadium Management. If you suffer from vertigo or have issues with heights, please avoid booking tickets in the Upper North Stand as this area is quite steep. Please note that although Forsyth Barr Stadium has a roof, it is not completely enclosed and some areas will be more exposed to the outdoor elements than others. Temperatures inside are generally only about 2-3 degrees higher than the outside temperature, so please dress accordingly. No alcohol is to be removed from the stadium. Patrons must not sit or stand in aisles, or block entry doors or emergency exits.

Children Rules

Please check event listings for details that may apply to children for the event. Note all children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an accompanying adult as required by New Zealand Law. For family events, children under the age of 2 and under are free on a caregiver's lap. If a child requires their own seat, a ticket must be purchased (unless stated otherwise). For some events, a special price category will be offered. Please check event listings for details. Please note that prams or strollers cannot be brought into the venue.

Miscellaneous

Tickets can be picked up from the venue box office on the day of the event from one hour prior to doors open. Please refer to box office opening hours under the event details and arrive early to avoid queues. Photo identification and purchase confirmation are required to pick up tickets. If you selected 'Print-at-Home' as your ticket delivery option, please ensure you print off your ticket before the event - Print-at-Home e-Tickets cannot be collected from Forsyth Barr Stadium reception or the box office.
