About

This concert is a celebration and homage to Simon & Garfunkel by our very own celebrated songwriters.

An absolute must see for Simon & Garfunkel fans!

In September 1981, the City of New York hosted a now legendary benefit concert for the people of their City - Simon & Garfunkel - the Concert in Central Park.

Now on the 40th Anniversary of the concert and release of the multi- platinum selling album, a group of acclaimed and award-winning NZ songwriters & artists will perform the music from that very special concert along with some additional selected special songs.

The exceptional songwriting genius of Paul Simon is apparent in the huge body of exquisite songs that feature throughout the concert.

America. Sound of Silence. The Boxer. April Come She Will. Bridge Over Troubled Water- are just a few of the masterpieces that feature.

The haunting, ethereal and melodic tones of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel will be captured by Sam Scott, Luke Buda (Phoenix Foundation), Holly Arrowsmith, Age Pryor, (Fly my Pretties) and Anita Clark (Motte).

 Holly Arrowsmith

Samuel Flynn Scott

Scott has produced an album for Dave Dobbyn, played support for Nick Cave and Jarvis Cocker.

Luke Buda
