Patrons arriving late will not be admitted into the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance. They may be seated in an alternate area nearer to an entrance where minimal disruption will be caused to seated attendees. This is at the discretion of the venue staff.
The producers cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist at any performance, and no refunds or exchanges will be offered as a result of an artist’s unavailability to perform.

The performance is suitable for all audiences and best enjoyed by ages 8 and up.
Children under 2 years of age will be admitted free of charge if seated on a caregiver’s knee. A lap ticket must be obtained from the Box Office before entry. If over 2-years-old, a ticket must be purchased.
There is a strict limit of ten (10) tickets per customer during the pre-sale and general on sale for this event. Orders exceeding this limit may be cancelled without notice. Not only were amazing actors, singers and dances they also played instruments meaning the orchestra was on stage. My favourite was Pippin who had a cello draped over his shoulder.

This was one of the best musical theatre experiences I have had in many years. Amazing multi-talented cast and great direction keeping the storyline moving. There wasn’t a moment that I lost interest. Love the Civic as a venue too. Can’t recommend this show highly enough
I had worked the night before and I was tired but there was no way I was going to sleep during this show. It was full of energy, full of fun and an absolute joy to watch. Hopefully I get to see it again before they leave our shores because it is worth seeing again. The music, the props, the actors, the musicians, the sound, the lighting, and we cannot forget the behind the scenes crew. Outstanding. Thanks for a great night out
To try and portray something as massive as JRR Tolkein's epic books was already doomed. However, I went to see it with optimism. It was, though, above amateur but below professional. Many of the cast were outstanding, and I am equally sure that the majority of the cast will have great careers ahead of them, just not yet. The music was wonderfully performed, but the composition of said pieces was sub-par. No one would object to the suggestion that the Lord of the Rings was an attempted to create a mythology for England. Why? Because this is what Tolkein himself said it was. Thus it was disappointing that the predominantly American cast could only approximate a mild Irish accent. Frodo was no less guilty of this, but when at one stage he expressed great passion he used a Scottish accent. I used the word "used"I actually mean that he did not identify the difference and probably had no idea that that was what he actually did. The actor playing Bilbo did a passable accent, but when he was playing the duel role of King Theoden he spoke with a New York accent. The actor who clearly had researched his voice was that of Gollum (Gandalf and Saruman come a close second and third). At least he knew what he was supposed to sound like. All these destroy the concept of the willingness of disbelief. Despite being miked up, much clarity of diction was lost because of a lack of articulation. The lighting was superb, the scenery and general backgrounds and backdrops were superb, the sound FX were superb, the Black Rider's horses were superb, Shelob was superb. There was a lot to admire.
What an experience! Such talent and creativity packed into a most beloved story, showcased in a magical 3-hour performance!
We attended with no expectations and were very happy with the show. Enjoyed the song and dance, the interaction with the audience, and the staging. We had an aisle seat . At one point, Golem jumped down beside me! Loved the puppetry too. Highly recommend.
What an amazing experience and what a talent bunch of people - not only did some of the characters look similiar to the original cast, but I was amazed how they could all sing, dance and all play multiple instruments. It was incredible how they could portray the whole story of LOTR into 3 hours and capture the essence of the whole story. Definitely a must see.
This new Lord of the Rings stage production is absolutely mind-blowing! It's not just a play- it's a full-on, immersive experience that will leave you speechless. The set design is next-level, with everything from canopies to death valleys looking incredibly realistic, creating a vivid and breathtaking Middle-earth. The lighting is perfect, transforming each scene-with stunning effects that make you feel like you're actually there. But the best part? The performers themselves! The actors breathe life into these iconic characters like never before. Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf-they all feel so real, bringing Tolkien's world to vivid emotional depth. Their dialogue delivery is powerful and nuanced, and their performances are raw with emotion, making every moment truly unforgettable. And the music, composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, takes it to a whole new level. The score- performed live on stage by the cast-blends Rahman's genius with Tolkien's world in a way you've never heard before, with the actors playing live instruments, adding a whole new layer of magic. It's a perfect fusion of talent, energy, and artistry. This is a once-in-a-lifetime theatrical event where the performers steal the show, making it a must-see for fans old and new!
This was an outstanding production of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The cast were multi talented and showcased their acting, dancing, singing abilities as well as playing the musical instruments of the orchestra. They were truly superb. I did not want the performance to end! It was first class! Ticketmaster provided clear instructions on how to add our tickets to our mobile phone wallet for ease of entry to the show.
