Pearl Jam is Asking Fans to Register for their Dark Matter World Tour 2024 Sale

Joining special guests Pixies, Liam Finn will open proceedings in Auckland on November 8 and 10. Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers kick off the Australian shows at the Gold Coast on November 13, Melbourne on November 18 and Sydney on November 23, and Cosmic Psychos will feature at the Melbourne show on November 16 followed by Sydney on November 21.

Pearl Jam is an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 1990. The band's lineup consists of bassist Jeff Ament, rhythm guitarist Stone Gossard, lead guitarist Mike McCready, lead singer/guitarist Eddie Vedder and drummer Matt Cameron. Thirty plus years of live performances, twelve studio albums and hundreds of official live concert bootleg releases later, Pearl Jam continues to be critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The band has sold over 85 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. Pearl Jam's new album, Dark Matter, is out April 19, 2024.

Since the earliest days, Pearl Jam has used its platform to elevate people and causes that often go unnoticed or underserved. Much of the band’s philanthropic work is accomplished through its Vitalogy Foundation which to date has raised more than $50 million for organizations supporting issues such as abortion access, climate change and homelessness, and drawing attention to the fight against diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). In addition to the money Vitalogy donates, the band also donates signed instruments, posters and merchandise to organizations to use for their own fundraising purposes. Compounding the impact of Vitalogy Foundation, the band has supported Jeff Ament’s Montana Pool Service building skate parks in Montana and South Dakota. Pearl Jam also lends its voice to notable causes like the West Memphis 3, voting rights and fair ticketing practices. Over the past three decades, the band has a long history of standing up for what it believes in and putting its resources behind those beliefs.

Through its innovative Ten Club and fan engagement, community building, coveted poster designs, and longstanding activism and philanthropy, Pearl Jam continues to have a lasting impact on generations of music lovers.

  • Pearl Jam

5 stars for the Pixies and Pearl Jam concert. 3 stars for certain aspects of the event. The email sent out before the concert stated we could bring a bottle that we could then fill with water. We were in the find circle and were not allowed this. The water stations were outside the area so we had to leave and return to get water. About halfway through the concerts those who left the golden circle were not allowed back in. Some water was handed out to the front row, which was great, but I could not get any water. Water stations inside the areas where refillable bottles are not allowed please. There were also a lot of people vaping and smoking, cigarettes and other 'materials'. Security did not appear to want to notice.

by Concerned concert goer on 09/11/2024Go Media Stadium - AucklandRating: 3 out of 5

Didn't appreciate much the 2 tents in the center of the field! So much wasted space and unnecessary distraction for the GA area peeps!

  • Amazing show

    by Jax1973 on 09/11/2024Go Media Stadium - AucklandRating: 5 out of 5

Went to the Friday night show, it was great from start to finish. The sound was excellent, the crowd was good, they played a great variety of songs. Tickets were easy to access. Would definitely recommend seeing Pearl Jam live

  • Awesome show despite the seats!

by Caulkhesd on 09/11/2024Go Media Stadium - AucklandRating: 4 out of 5

Would have been nice to know that we had no view of the stage or screens with the tickets we purchased. Limited view notice would have been good, The seats alongside were unoccupied so we could move along but still couldn’t see anything on the stage unless the band were right at the front. Pearl Jam put on a cracking show. Loved the fact they changed their set for a fan request. Also enjoyed their support Buses to and from venue were excellent

  • One of my favourite bands in this world.

  • Absolutely fabulous

by Mel on 09/11/2024Go Media Stadium - AucklandRating: 5 out of 5

What a night! Congratulations to Auckland for putting on fantastic weather and transport options! This was seamless and we weren’t left worrying about how we would get home after the concert. Pearl Jam impressed right from the moment they hit the stage.

  • Seating awful

by Covenf on 09/11/2024Go Media Stadium - AucklandRating: 2 out of 5

The Pearl Jam concert itself was great but my god the seating in the south stand was abhorrent. Everyone packed in like sardines. One of our group went home before the concert started as they became claustrophobic. Awful.
