Please follow these directions and you’ll be with us in no time at all! Approximate travel times From Wellington Airport 30 minutes From Central Wellington 20 minutes From Hutt Valley 25 minutes From Johnsonville 10 minutes Directions - if approaching from Wellington City/Hutt Valley From State Highway 1, take the Johnsonville turn off. Drive through Johnsonville main road and as you approach McDonalds on your left, enter the roundabout and take the second left turn up to the second roundabout. Take the next turn left onto Ironside Road where a yellow AA sign is posted with Ohariu Farm. This road takes you into Ohariu Valley. Please don’t turn onto Ohariu Road here. Please now follow directions ‘From Ironside Road’. Directions - if approaching from the north From State Highway 1, take the Johnsonville turn off and turn right at the first roundabout once you have exited the motorway and driven under the bridge. You will pass 2 roads off to your left and then take the third left as you drive up to the second roundabout. Take the next turn left into Ironside Road where a yellow AA sign is posted with Ohariu Farm. This road takes you into Ohariu Valley. Please don’t turn onto Ohariu Road here Please now follow directions ‘From Ironside Road’. From Ironside Road Follow Ironside Road into Ohariu Valley. Drive past McClintock Street on your left as you drive down into Ohariu Valley. Please follow the winding road down to the crossroads (don’t turn off). At the crossroads please go straight through (do not turn left or right). As you follow through the crossroads you will drive up and around a corner veering to the right – this is how you will immediately know you’re still on the right road. Please note there will not be a sign for Ohariu Farm at these crossroads but you are still on the right road. At the crossroads the road now turns into Takarau Gorge Road. Please follow this road until you reach Ohariu Farm at 184 Takarau Gorge Road - approximately 1.84 km from the crossroads. We are situated on the right and there is a sign post on the fence. Please drive up the driveway, and follow the signs to the main Function Centre. Please do not follow the directions from Wises or Google Maps - these are incorrect and you may not find us!
