Jonathan Lemalu Tickets

Grammy-award winning Dunedin bass, Jonathan Lemalu, returns home for one night only, joining award winning pianist Terence Dennis to perform Schubert’s final composition, his collection of songs, Schwanengesang (Swansong).  Both Jonathan and Terence have enjoyed notable collaborations together and with other international artists over their respective careers, and are excited to perform this collection of songs, a rarely heard opportunity in Dunedin in recent years.  This year Jonathan has received an Honorary Fellowship from London’s RCM presented by King Charles III, was made an ONZM for services to opera in the late Queen Elizabeth’s most recent Jubilee honours, and is a Patron of Virtuoso Strings Orchestra, the Dunedin Arts Festival and most recently, a newly appointed Patron of New Zealand Opera.
