Venue Information


The Dunedin Railway Station is located in the heart of Dunedin, only a short walk from the Octagon. Entry to events at the Dunedin Railway Station is through the main entrance on Anzac Avenue or through the side entrance (North end) for mobility access.

Public Transportation

Time tabled bus services are available to the Octagon. Visit or call 03 474 0287 to check up-to-date time tables. The nearest designated taxi stand is in the Octagon, only a short walk up Stuart Street from the Dunedin Railway Station’s main entrance. All taxis can also drop off and pick up passengers at the North and South ends of the Railway Station.

Box Office Hours

The Dunedin Railway Station box office opens 1 hour prior to show start times. For exact times, please refer to the door opening time on your ticket. Outside of show times, please contact Ticketmaster on 0800 111 999 for all ticketing enquiries. Door sales based on availability

Accessible Seating

Please call Ticketmaster’s Accessible Seating Line if you have Wheelchair or Special Needs booking requirements on 09 970 9711 Service Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm; Saturday - Sunday 9am - 5pm (closed Christmas / Boxing Day) Mobility access to the Dunedin Railway Station is via the North end entrance.

General Rules

Tickets can be picked up Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, from Forsyth Barr Stadium Reception at Gate/Entrance J (between Gates A and H), or from the Dunedin Railway Station 1 hour prior to event start time. Please bring your account/order number, photo identification and credit card purchased with to collect tickets. Tickets can only be picked up by the account holder. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before the event starts to avoid queues and to allow for sufficient time to find your seat. A selection of beverages and snacks are also offered at the Dunedin Railway Station and provide a great opportunity for guests to arrive early and enjoy a drink before the show.

Children Rules

Note all children under the age of 14 require a ticket and must be supervised by an accompanying adult. Not suitable for children under 5 years of age.


Lost property: If you lose a personal belonging at an event, please contact Dunedin Venues Management on 0800 24 64 64. The venue management office is open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8.30-5.00pm.
