In this big bang performance, the 100 young people who make up Strike Percussion’s Taranaki Batterie100 work together to create riveting rhythm. They play every percussion instrument imaginable and then add in others, including cans and hands. It is choreographed, clever, energetic and engaging, showcasing the talents of these Taranaki youngsters.

Batterie100 percussion groups have played throughout New Zealand, on TV, in parks, theatres and even before an All Blacks rugby test. Wherever these young people have played, the comments have been overwhelmingly positive. “Their drumming was spectacular and they were clearly having a good time,” writes the Dominion Post.
