About

Inside Dalí is a multimedia experience that will give audiences a chance to explore one of the 20th century’s greatest surrealist painters - Salvador Dali.

Direct from Florence and produced with the support of the GALA SALVADOR DALÍ Foundation, Inside Dalí is a digital art exhibition that revolves around the life of the great Catalan painter – the father of surrealism.

The event offers an opportunity to transcend time and space as you experience the world of Dali in an exhibition that combines cutting-edge digital technology, imagery, real objects, and illusions.

The heart of the exhibition, the Immersive Room, is an immersive space, in which the visitor comes into direct contact with Dalí's painting, entering the works of the painter through high resolution digital imagery and supporting soundtrack.

The exhibition also includes a full chronological trip through Dali’s life in pictures, The Divine Comedy Room showing Dali’s work that he was controversially commissioned to do for Alighiere’s masterpiece Dante’s Inferno, as well as the Mirror Room where viewers will be exposed to Dali’s surrealist work in a 360 degree setting.

The Event has been conceived, created and produced by the Italy’s C&T Crossmedia in conjunction with Belgium’s MB Presents and is being presented in New Zealand by Live Nation.

The world-class multimedia experience will be on display from May 28 - 3 July at Auckland’s Spark Arena. It then goes to the Air Force Museum in Christchurch from July 11 - 26 August.

COVID-aware

The health of visitors to Inside Dali is our number one priority. The producers are dedicated to complying with the New Zealand Events Sector Voluntary Code.

Inside Dali will adhere to the latest New Zealand Government updates and guidelines, which may be subject to change.

These include:

CONTACT TRACING

QR code scanning and contract tracing is no longer required.

HYGIENE AND CLEANING:

Hand sanitizing stations are present and good hand hygiene practices are encouraged for all visitors. Frequent cleaning is undertaken, and deep cleaning will be scheduled in the event of any COVID-positive instances. There are no touch points inside the experience.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Inside Dali allows for plenty of space to practice social distancing. As the event is ticketed, the organisers are able to control the number of people who can visit at any time. Indoor gatherings have grown from a maximum of 100 to 200 people when a region is under “Red” as per the New Zealand Government Traffic Light system, with social distancing and mask-use still required. While there are no capacity limits under Orange or Green, we encourage patrons to wear masks.
