Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher Miss Honey. During her first term at school, the two forge a bond as Miss Honey begins to recognize and appreciate Matilda's extraordinary personality. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves to punish those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils' saving grace!

Albeit at times it was hard to hear the words with the singing, I had to remember that some of the main characters were only 11 years old!! Miss Honey's voice was exquisite. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is even thinking about attending.
Matilda was a very enjoyable show, well-acted and sung. Occasionally it was hard to hear the words being sung, but overall an excellent, fun show.
We had the absolute best time, such a slick and incredible cast, we had to go more than once!!
Congratulations to all involved in this production… you deserved the standing ovation! Incredibly talented cast, wonderful singing, outstanding set design. A must see for all ages!

What a fabulous production of Matilda - from the direction to the choreography, the casting of the ridiculously talented children and adults alike, the costume, lighting, musical direction. It's right up there with anything you would find on the West End or Broadway. I brilliant night out at the theatre. I can't recommend it highly enough!
This is one of the best shows I have seen in NZ!! What an incredibly talented cast. High energy and spot on choreography. I was super impressed. Must see show!!
