In the basement of a modest house in a small town in Minnesota, emerged the electronic and melodically infectious tunes of Adam Young, more widely known as pop darling Owl City. Owl City's first official album release titled Ocean Eyes took on a life of its own and achieved multiplatinum sales, including the four times platinum single 'Fireflies' which rose to #1 in 22 countries, was positioned number one on the ARIA singles chart and placed in the RIANZ Top 5. Owl City is making an enormous impact on the music scene and the fans are ready for the dynamic and exciting live show he brings to every stage.
Support will be provided by fellow Americans The Album Leaf. The Album Leaf, signed to Sub Pop Records, is the solo project of Jimmy LaValle, a San Diego-based songwriter. La Valle constructed his music in an eclectic manner, utilizing everything from ambient noise, field recordings and radio transmissions.
