More than a touch of Christmas cheer is set to arrive in Auckland this December as Encore Theatre Collective presents the New Zealand Premiere of Elf the Musical at the ASB Waterfront Theatre! 

Based on the hit 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, Elf is the hilarious tale of Buddy, the human turned Elf raised by Santa at the North Pole. On learning the truth, Buddy journeys to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. 

Since 2019, Encore has dazzled thousands of audience members across Auckland. Elf promises Christmas magic with spectacular production design, astounding choreography, and a stunning cast of Auckland's finest young performers, led by the incomparable Mark Hadlow as Santa Claus.
