Wu Man is an internationally renowned pipa virtuoso and one of the world's greatest exponents of this ancient Chinese lute-like instrument.
 
Wu Man has collaborated with celebrated artists like Philip Glass, Kronos Quartet and Yo-Yo Ma, and was the first Chinese musician to perform at the White House after receiving an invitation from Bill Clinton.
Wu Man's solo performance features 19th century pipa works alongside contemporary pieces and her own compositions, showcasing the instrument's unique tonal qualities and her breathtaking playing skills.
