Last here for a packed out bFM Private Function at the Kings Arms in 2011, seminal UK quartet Wire are returning in support of their critically acclaimed 2013 release 'Change Becomes Us,'this time opting to make room for more at the iconic Powerstation, Monday February 17th.

Joining founding members Colin Newman, Graham Lewis, and Robert "Gotobed" Grey is guitarist Matthew Simms, also known as frontman for UK indie darlings It Hugs Back; now considered a permanent fixture within the group... Yet another twist in the tale of Wire!

An always forwardsmoving entity, writing the book on everything from British punk to synthpop, Wire have in the past been infamous for their flat refusal to play their earlier "hits", once resorting to hiring a Wire tribute band as their own support act. On this tour, however, fans will see the band showcasing newer material as well as classics from their wide ranging oeuvre. Brilliant.
