Heights Creative Tickets

On Tuesday 27th August the Western Heights High School future stars of stage and screen will be performing for one night only. Heights Creative will be held at the Rotorua Convention Centre from 7pm as a celebration of talent and culture.
This performance evening culminates what has been a very successful year for the Performing Arts.
Be prepared for spine tingling Kapa Haka from Te Ropu Manaaki, and a taste of the Pacific delivered through a feast of song and dance from our Pasifika group.
From Music, acts performing include the award winning bands "Strangely Arousing" who came 2nd  in the Battle of the Bands, "Aftershock" and "Out of Tunar" who came 1st and 3nd in Rock quest. Plus talented soloists Emily Jayne Powell and Ruby Solly, as well as the school choir, Epic voices group and talented big band. Te Maru will also deliver another fantastic musical ensemble.
From Drama, speakers of the Bard will perform a piece from "The Tempest", a performance which received 2nd in the regional competition and several individual awards including Most Promising Actor and Most Outstanding Supporting Role.
Last but not least regional winners, the Western Heights Stage Challenge group, will take you back to the Roman Empire and the battle for power, in their 8 minute dramatic dance performance.
