Featuring more than a hundred gigs across the capital’s bars, eateries and venues, the Wellington Jazz Festival is back with a star-studded international and Aotearoa New Zealand programme, featuring exciting and innovative musicians from near and far.
With a headline programme that spans genres, featuring international GRAMMY-Award winning artists Lalah Hathaway (USA) and MonoNeon (USA), GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist Melissa Aldana (Chile), four brand new jazz commissions from Aotearoa New Zealand artists, including the soulful sounds of Louis Baker, plus jazz stalwart the Rodger Fox Big Band, get ready to amplify your Labour weekend.

OPERA HOUSE HEADLINER PASS
You can save on booking fees and get 10% off your tickets through our Headliner Pass.
This pass allows you to purchase tickets for three or more Headliner performances at the 2022 Wellington Jazz Festival (including First Release Headliners: Legacy: Lalah Hathaway sings Donny Hathaway with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and guests, MonoNeon, Melissa Aldana Quartet, Louis Baker - Duality and The Elements, the Rodger Fox Big Band plays Hone Tuwhare and Second Release Headliners - to be announced) at the same time. Once you have made your purchase, you will be issued individual tickets for the three or more events.
The Headliner Pass entitles you to 10% off each individual ticket price (applies to all reserves and to the Early Bird price (if applicable) for all Headliners as named above). This discount is applied automatically.
The Headliner Pass is only valid if you are booking three or more Headliners by phone or through a Ticketmaster Box Office.
