New Zealand’s leading trombone quartet, BonaNZa, is a galloping treat.

Formed in 1997, these professional players deliver a fun, varied and informative musical programme spanning centuries and genres. They also perform originals with scintillating arrangements.

The trombonists not only enjoy playing different styles of music, they relish performing in diverse places, from inside trains, busking in the Coromandel, to a band rotunda tour of the South Island.

BonaNZa is led by Taranaki’s own David Bremner, who is principal trombonist of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. The other members of the quartet also play in leading orchestras around the country.
